OzU pursues its sustainability efforts in collaboration with the other renowned institution that are recognized for their efforts in sustainability both in Turkey and around the world.

OzU joined the ISCN network in 2015. This network includes more than 80 universities from 30 countries. The ISCN member schools include some of the world’s leading universities such as Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Yale, and Oxford. All of the universities in the network endeavor to seamlessly integrate sustainability to their campus operations, research, and teaching. Most of the ISCN member schools also make up of the World Economic Forum’s Global University Leaders Forum (GULF).

The TÜSİAD-Özyeğin University Sustainable Development Forum, OzU’s center for sustainability, was admitted as a member to the Sustainability Centres Community in March 2018.  SCC operates under the Network for Business Sustainability with over 150 centers from across the world. The community shares the centers’ competencies, latest news about researchers and centers, best practices, and opportunities with its members. In addition to dissemination of knowledge, the community also lays the foundations for new idea exchanges and collaborations, and continuously builds on these foundations with its periodic webinars and bi-annual workshops to make significant contributions to the sustainability efforts of its centers.
