About the Project:
The project aims to serve equality by providing access to justice for those whose access to justice is limited or impossible. Within the scope of this project which has been continuing since 2014, cooperation between students and faculty members has been achieved and legal service has been provided on a certain weekly schedule in a station at Istanbul's Anadolu Palace of Justice, which has been set up for this particular project by the Strategy Development Office of the Ministry of Justice. It serves equality in the field of peace and justice in terms of sustainability and as a social responsibility project. It is scheduled to provide trainings continuously unless clinics are closed. It aims to provide free legal assistance to persons in difficult or vulnerable situations due to the social inequalities in income distribution and education.
Project Finding:
This project, which contributes to the practical life of the students, also provides written and oral solutions free of charge for the real legal problems distributed among the working groups participating in the project and sometimes collaborates with non-governmental organizations such as bar associations or the Ministry of Justice every year. In addition to concrete legal issues which are undertaken individually, legal assistance (free of charge) is provided for the disadvantaged people who do not have access to justice due to financial impossibilities or lack of education through alternately completed tasks every week at the Anadolu Palace of Justice.
